Originally from Italy, I completed both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science at the University of Bologna. During my studies I had the chance to travel a lot and study abroad, spending one semester at Drexel University in the United States and another at National Taiwan University in Taipei.
A key moment that pushed me toward research was attending the Cornell, Maryland, Max Planck Pre-doctoral Research Summer School, where I had the chance to connect with many inspiring researchers. After finishing my Master's, I returned to the University of Bologna as a research assistant and tutor under the supervision of Prof. Paolo Ciancarini, where I worked on LLM-based tools for software engineering education.
In 2025 I joined the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems through the CS@Max Planck program. Since then I've worked with researchers across several labs, including the Machine Teaching group (MPI-SWS) led by Prof. Adish Singla, the Center for Humans and Machines (MPI-HD) led by Prof. Iyad Rahwan, where I was supervised by Dr. Levin Brinkmann, and the Organizational Leadership and Diversity group (MPI-IS) led by Prof. Ksenia Keplinger.
